This edition of the RockVerse Digest highlights complementary services that add a WOW factor to your service offerings.
There are a number of add-on services that you can provide to your guests which add value. These services are seemingly little conveniences that a thoughtful, empathetic owner can provide for different categories of guests. Here are some examples:
For the business traveler: a food plug, bureau de change plug, great WiFi services, laundry services, and a collection of local service providers.
For families with young children: entertainment spaces that cater to age-appropriate games, collection of local service providers, especially convenience stores and catering services.
For groups, friends, colleagues and such: Depending on the purpose they are visiting for, a customized service based on interaction with them. However, consider a car hire plug (especially for guests who aren’t based in your city) and bureau de change, amongst others.
Solo explorer: This guest is likely engaging in a staycation, so WiFi cannot be overemphasized.
This list of services is not exhaustive and must be in addition to basic functional services (clean running water, 24/7 light supply, and clean, ambient spaces) that are contributory to the WOW experiences for guests.
Short-let owners and managers can consider these features, as they can potentially be the deciding factor between guests coming to you or going elsewhere, especially for this Detty December season.
Till we meet again!
